Rosalie Freidlin is a CPA (Illinois) and CPA, CA as well as a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada. She has 40 years of experience in the U.S. including 38 years in private practice offering accounting services to small businesses, audit and assurance services and tax preparation and tax planning services. Her clients include real estate investors, construction contractors, service businesses, trucking companies, wholesalers and nonprofit organizations. Due to the relocation in 2012 of close family to Canada, Rosalie has trained and worked intensively for the past three years in the preparation of Canadian and U.S. income tax returns for U.S. citizens resident in Canada and in tax planning opportunities and filing obligations under the U.S. Canada Tax Treaty, working on a contractual basis for Canadian chartered accounting firms. She has much experience with regard to cross border taxation in the preparation of U.S. individual income tax returns, U.S. nonresident income tax returns, U.S. partnership returns and U.S. domestic and foreign corporation returns. She is a member of the AICPA, AICPA Peer Review Program and CPA Ontario. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to live and work in Ontario as much as possible. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish. She also is conversational in Farsi.
